Peacock Cinema returns! After a successful summer season, Dunfermline Regeneration Trust is once again providing its community cinema at the Carnegie Hall. Come along to one of these affordable film screenings, with some spooky favourites being shown for the Autumn season.

Exhibitions and More

At Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries, you can catch the Lost Words Exhibition featuring original artwork by artist Jackie Morris and spell-poems from writer Robert Macfarlane from the best-selling book The Lost Words. This is on from the 28th of June to 26th of October, so be sure to stop by.

Markets

The Dunfermline City Artisan Market is on again this month at St Catherine’s Wynd on the 12th of October from 11am to 3pm. Head round to visit over 25 stalls, with fresh ingredients, hot food, cakes, textiles, crafts, and more!

Every Sunday, you can catch the Culross Village Market on the village green. Drop by and have a look at what’s on offer, from fresh food to hand-crafted items.

 

Dunfermline Abbey Church Pilgrimage Month

Celebrating the history of Dunfermline and the theme of pilgrimages, Dunfermline Abbey have a number of events to get involved with. Included in the lineup this month are some graveyard tours with local historians, a tour of the stunning stained glass in the Abbey, an exhibition with artist Cara Shanley, and some organised walks following historical pilgrimage routes.

Live Music, Comedy and Theatre in Dunfermline

Comedian Stuart Mitchell visits the Carnegie Hall on the 16th of October on his first UK national tour, bringing sharp wit and hilarious tales to the stage. For even more laughs, catch Alhambra, catch surreal improv comedian Ross Noble for his latest tour: Cranium of Curiosities on the 30th of October.

If you’re the type who thinks it’s never too early to start getting in the Christmas spirit, head down to The Alhambra on the 24th of October to watch the Imperial Classical Ballet perform The Nutcracker with a live orchestra.

As always, you can catch plenty of live music acts at Dunfermline’s music venues. Check out the live music events on at Fire Station Creative every Friday and Saturday evening.
