The festive season is now officially upon us, and we’re getting ready for the Dunfermline Christmas Lights 2025!
When will the Dunfermline Christmas Lights be switched on?
The Dunfermline Christmas Lights will be switched on on Sunday, the 16th of November, at 5pm. This will be held at the Glen Gates, down the bottom of the High Street, to allow everyone to come along and see the lights come on to kick off the festive season.
Dunfermline Santa Dash
The Rotary Club of Dunfermline is holding its annual Santa Dash! Sign up for fun or to raise money for charity. Entry fee is £10 per adult and £5 per child, with your Santa suit included. The Dunfermline Santa Dash begins registration at 12pm, with the dash itself kicking off from the top of the High Street down to the Glen Gates. Following this, there’s a 5K Santa Run around the Glen with your Santa squad that starts and finishes at the Glen Gates.
Who is Switching On Dunfermline Christmas Lights?
The headline acts are a surprise! There will be live entertainment throughout the day for the whole family. Last year the event pulled in over 20,000 people, and this year Fife Council have allocated extra funding and planning to make the Dunfermline Christmas Lights Switch-on 2025 even better. When the full itinerary is announced, we’ll update it here but for now, mark your calendar for the Dunfermline Christmas Lights on the 16th of November 2025. We’ll see you there!
